Authorised Sensor Access Technology Installer — South East London & Kent

GuardPoint10 access control.
Installed by certified partners.

Sensor Access Technology's GuardPoint10 platform brings access control, alarm management, and video under a single interface — open protocol, cloud-connected, and scalable from one door to a multi-building estate. Triple Star are authorised GP10 installers across South East London and Kent.

What this means for your building

The questions your current access control system probably can't answer.

Most access control platforms look similar in a brochure. The differences that matter — offline resilience, multi-site control, integration depth, and what you actually own — show up in practice. Here's where GuardPoint10 stands apart.

01

Your cameras, alarms, and doors in one screen — not three separate logins.

GP10's Security Centre places live camera feeds, alarm inputs, and access events on a single graphical site map. When a credential fails at an outer door at 11pm, you see it — in context, immediately — without switching between systems. For facilities managers responsible for multiple buildings, this changes the nature of the job.

02

The audit trail keeps running even when your server doesn't.

GP10 controllers store up to two million access events locally — completely independent of network or server availability. If connectivity fails or maintenance is required, records continue uninterrupted. When you need to demonstrate who was in the building at a specific time — to an insurer, a regulator, or your own management — the log is there.

03

Your existing cameras and readers aren't automatically redundant.

GuardPoint10 is built on open protocols — OSDP, Wiegand, and ONVIF. It's designed to work alongside hardware you already have. Legacy readers, third-party cameras, and existing alarm inputs can often be integrated into the GP10 platform. Triple Star assesses hardware compatibility at survey stage, before a quote is issued.

04

Six buildings managed centrally, with local control still intact at each site.

The GP10 multi-site module gives a single administrator management of permissions, event views, and reports across multiple buildings — while each site retains full local autonomy. For managed property portfolios and organisations with branch offices, this removes the need for separate systems and separate contracts at every location.

The Installation Process

From site survey to signed-off system — nothing left to chance.

Every GuardPoint10 installation by Triple Star follows the same four stages. System logic, integrations, and user hierarchies are all specified in writing before a cable is run.

01
Step 01

Site Survey & Access Audit

Every access point assessed, legacy hardware reviewed for retention, security zones mapped. Controller count, reader types, and integration scope confirmed before design work begins.

02
Step 02

GP10 System Design

Access zones, time rules, Global Reflexes automations, and integration requirements all specified before installation begins. Lift restrictions, visitor workflows, and alarm linkages designed up front.

03
Step 03

Installation & Integration

Controllers, readers, and locking hardware installed by SSAIB-accredited engineers. Third-party CCTV, intruder detection, and BMS integrations managed in the same programme of works.

04
Step 04

Commissioning & Handover

Every access point individually verified. Every integration tested end-to-end. Full as-built documentation, compliance records, and hands-on training issued before our engineers leave site.

GuardPoint10 Security Centre
The GuardPoint10 Platform

One platform. Not four systems pretending to talk to each other.

GuardPoint10 is Sensor Access Technology's proprietary software, built to integrate access control, alarm management, video, and building automation into a single interface — no middleware dependencies, no separate VMS licences, no third-party dashboards bolted on as an afterthought.

ECA award-nominated installation — Harrow Council Sensor Access name-drops Triple Star on their own website for the Harrow Council GP10 deployment — integrating third-party readers, QR credentials, and API connections. That project was nominated for an ECA Best Fire and Security Project award.
  • Security Centre — graphical site map with live door, camera, and alarm icons; actionable decisions without switching screens
  • Multi-Site Module — centralised management across buildings; each site retains independent local control
  • Global Reflexes — drag-and-drop cause-and-effect automation; define what happens when a door is forced or a credential fails
  • Lift Integration — floor-by-floor access restriction; full DOAS support for KONE, Mitsubishi, and OTIS lift systems
  • REST API — open interface for integration with HR systems, student management, BMS, and custom applications

Controllers & Readers

Built to the same standard as the software it runs.

Sensor Access Technology designs and manufactures their own controllers and readers to work natively with GuardPoint10 — no third-party hardware dependency at the controller level. Triple Star specifies and installs the right hardware combination for your site's physical requirements and credential preferences.

  • IC2001 — 2-door controller — 4-reader capacity; ideal for smaller sites or distributed deployments
  • IC4001 — 4-door controller — 4-reader capacity; stores up to 2 million events locally, independent of server or network
  • SensorProx DESFire readers — Mifare DESFire EV1/EV2; encrypted; resistant to credential cloning
  • BioPlus W2 biometric — fingerprint; live finger detection; IP67/IK09 housing for demanding environments
  • Bluetooth, NFC, and QR readers — smartphone credentials; temporary visitor access issued remotely; no physical token required

Where GuardPoint10 works

Built for the complexity of real buildings.

The combination of open protocols, offline resilience, and flexible credential options makes GP10 practical across building types and sectors that simpler access control platforms can't serve well.

Commercial Offices

Role-based floor access, time-schedule restrictions, and GP10-VMS visitor management at reception. Lift integration restricts tenants to their own floors. Contractors check in digitally and receive a QR credential without involving reception for every arrival.

Education

Campus-wide access management with GP10's API connecting to student information systems — cardholders added automatically. MobileGuard provides real-time roll call during fire evacuation without a paper register.

Healthcare

Role-based zone restrictions prevent patient areas from being accessed by unauthorised personnel. Audit-ready access logs support inspection requirements. Biometric readers eliminate shared-PIN vulnerabilities in secure clinical environments.

Residential & Build-to-Rent

Fob, smartphone, or QR-based entry for residents. Visitor and contractor management without permanent credentials. All resident events logged and retained to your data retention policy.

Retail & Logistics

UHF or LPR readers for vehicle access to loading bays. Staff shift-based scheduling prevents back-of-house access outside permitted hours. High cardholder counts managed efficiently through GP10's scalable architecture.

Government & Local Authority

Triple Star's GP10 installation at Harrow Council — integrating third-party readers, QR credentials, and API connections — was nominated for an ECA Best Fire and Security Project award. Public sector audit and multi-site management requirements fully supported.

Why Triple Star

The system is only as reliable as the company that installed it.

Triple Star has been designing and installing access control systems since 2006. Daren Pool, our Managing Director, sits on BSI technical committees — the same committees that shape the standards your access control system is expected to meet. Sensor Access Technology identify Triple Star by name on their own website, citing specifically our capability to integrate third-party readers, QR credentials, and API-connected applications alongside native GP10 hardware.

The Harrow Council GP10 installation — carried out by Triple Star — was nominated for an ECA Best Fire and Security Project award. It is the kind of reference that matters when you're choosing an installer.

Named by Sensor Access Technology. Triple Star is identified on the manufacturer's own website as an installation partner — not a generic reseller listing.

ECA award-nominated project. The Harrow Council GP10 installation was shortlisted for ECA Best Fire and Security Project — independently judged.

Single accountable partner. Triple Star installs GP10 alongside IDIS CCTV and RISCO intruder alarms — one service contract, one point of contact for the full security system.

Full documentation on completion. As-built drawings, commissioning records, and user training issued before our engineers leave site — not sent later.
